American Telemedicine is uniquely positioned to support the Saudi healthcare sector fulfill the ambitious vision for 2020 and 2030. Since 2002 we were among few innovators at Harvard and MIT who developed noncommercial tools utilizing telecommunication technology to deliver remote medical care from Harvard teaching hospitals in Boston to patients in the Middle East including King Faisal Specialist Hospital. In 2008 ATM was established with a renewed vision to support leading US healthcare systems in providing healthcare soft service in the Kingdom and the Gulf region. In 2011 ATM lead an exclusive strategic partnership between Riyadh based Al Faisaliah Group and the largest integrated academic healthcare system in the U.S., including the two largest Harvard teaching Hospitals: Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Womens Hospital. For four years ATM lead this collaboration with dedicated executives based in Riyadh working closely with Harvard experts and assisting leaders of healthcare in the Kingdom as they revised healthcare strategies, and facilitated the adaptation of what we foresaw as a shift in the Saudi healthcare landscape from investing in hard infrastructure to investing in soft services.
In 2016, ATM further expanded its network to include leading private healthcare systems in the Middle East including Turkey based Memorial Healthcare Group. We also affirmed our commitment to the Saudi Healthcare sectors by executing strategic collaboration with Riyadh based King Faisal Specialist Hospital International Holding Company. We see this as yet another step towards renewing ATM commitment to working with leaders of the Saudi Healthcare Sector so the 2030 vision becomes a reality.
