Dr Olson is the Director of the Consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies (CAMTech). He is a Pediatrician and Internist and serves as a member of the Core Educator Faculty at the Massachusetts General Hospital where he is also Chief Innovation Officer for the Department of Medicine’s Residency Program and an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. He has worked extensively in developing healthcare and health services innovations throughout the globe. Dr Olson is the architect of CAMTech’s Innovation Platform, which supports innovators in the transition from idea generation to scale-up by giving innovators a network to ask the right questions, learn from peers, and stay on track. In 2009, he was named to the Scientific American Top 10 Honor Roll as an individual who has demonstrated leadership in applying new technologies and biomedical discoveries for the benefit of humanity.
