WHO WE ARE:
We are “healthcare management consultants specialized in utilizing technology to connect global consumers with leading healthcare providers in the United States. “
OUR HISTORY:
In 2002, soon after the tragic events of September 11 2001, a group of fellows and researchers at Harvard, MIT, and Harvard affiliate hospitals, formed a consulting team called “Boston Telemedicine”. Our common objective was utilizing advancement in medical Information technology and telecommunication networking to give international doctors and patients who were having difficulty traveling to the US alternative options to access healthcare services at Harvard teaching hospitals.
The team brought together available know how and technology, along with the creativity of various academic researchers to design out of the box telemedicine solutions to help Harvard medical professionals reach out to new patients and deliver services to previously non accessible markets.
Over the years we built a growing network of connections between the Harvard medical community and global healthcare systems and made our primary focus the Gulf region in Middle East.
In 2008 American Telemedicine was established to expand the scope of our services and enable our international clients to reach a larger pool of academic healthcare systems and leading providers of medical technology across the United States.
