Dr. Al-Rousan is a physician and public health expert who received her advanced fellowship training at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is currently based at the University of California, San Diego. Before completing her fellowship training at Harvard, Dr. Al-Rousan completed her medical degree at Cairo University and her master’s degree in public health at Iowa University. She recently joined the Department of Global Public Health at the University of California, San Diego as a postdoctoral fellow. She is a recipient of two awards from the American Public Health Association and has led multiple studies on the evaluation and development of health care services for refugees and host population in Jordan.
